Life decisions.

I am deeply sorry for not blogging in a few days. I know I have been tossing some ideas around & going back in forth. I think a lot of artists struggle with this thing I am feeling. I am currently doing pre-reqs for Nursing [which I was a goal of mine] but have been dealing with do I really want to do Nursing for the rest of my life. Part of me wants to do photography for ever. I love the passion I have for photography. I don't think I will love any other job as I do photographing people. I wanted to use Nursing as my fall back. I know I should not think negatively about my career. But the economy you never know where we will land.

I have been tossing around the Nursing thing for a year now & still have not done anything about it. I keep on doing school thinking I will just forget about it & become a Nurse. I love patients & I love the idea of being a "Nurse" & helping people. It is a big life decision. I have a lot of goals to set for myself as a photographer & as a Nursing student.

Surprise Announcement.

In a few days I will be announcing a surprise for all my fans on Facebook.
If you have not liked my photography page yet please do so.
Type in the search engine JendaLynne Photography

This photo was taken at the Tomb of the Unknown Guard in Washington, D.C.
Equipment it was taken with was Nikon D60, lens was 55-200mm.
I had taken my husband up to class that day & figured i'd waste time. I have never seen the sight before & we have lived in the DMV area for 4 years already. I arrived a little early since the changing of the Guard was not until noon. I snapped a few pictures of the cemetery. When I finally came to the Tomb I was speechless [trust me that never happens]. The way he was swift in movement, never moving out of beat. So precise & [I will not say elegant for a soldier] but he was smooth. I recommend this sight for anyone who visits in D.C.
The Changing of the Guard was even better. I will post pictures of that later on.

Have a blessed & beautiful day.

Lake Michigan.

(click on photo to make it bigger)
This photo was taken on Lake Michigan [yes that is a Lake & no you can't see land on the other side :)]
It was shot with my Nikon D60 & the Lens was Nikkor 50mm [my fav lens]
There was a storm on the left side that was brewing up and the sun was setting. I had to get some shots before the clouds completely covered the sky. I remember the weather it was that humid day but breezy. Ahh the beautiful Summer nights!! I miss those. My initial reaction was to catch a shot of lightening but I have not mastered shooting it he dark nor lightening. But I did manage to get a few good shots.

Hello Bloggy friends

Hi my loves,

My name is Jenda & I am an aspiring photographer. If I could even call myself that because I just do shoots on the weekends & as a hobby basically. I am a self taught photographer from Michigan who currently lives in Virginia [I say currently because my dream is to move to Florida one day.] I live here with my husband & two fur babies. Sorry I like to talk about other stuff than what I really should be talking about. <<< there I go again....so I have been doing photography since I was around 15 years old. I shot with a Canon back then & enjoyed it. I shoot with a Nikon now but we will get into that later. I was part of a youth group back than & they had options of what you could sign up for & I chose photography. It was not digital back then. We used a dark room & all that jazz. Honestly I wouldn't mind using one now. I stopped doing photography as I got later into my teens because of boys & what have you nots. Of course boys duh what did you think I was not boy crazy at 15 hahaha.

The point of this blog is to connect with other photographers & potential clients. Its for me to keep track of people coming & going so I know how relevant I am to society, basically. Isn't that how people do business these days? I work a full time job & do photography on the side so bare with me as I make posts & put on photos. I do my best as a full time worker & student. Oh, & as a wife to my wonderful hubby but we will talk about him later. :)

I hope you loves have a beautiful night where ever that may be. I look forward to connecting with you all through my work.
